About
Debi Quirk, Founder
Debi is an RN with 34 years of expertise in the delivery of health care services, including health promotion and illness prevention, patient advocacy, and clinical education. She strongly believes in person-centered, life-long learning and continuous self improvement. Her passion is to empower people by helping them to become active participants in their own care.
Her professional experience includes a wealth of diversity in critical care, neurotrauma, high-risk obstetrics, women's health care, geriatric, and public health nursing. These and her personal experiences as a primary care giver for her ill parents led her to truly appreciate the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families in a time of crisis while helping them with their health care needs. This was the inspiration for her transition to a new career as an independent RN patient advocate. As a pioneer in patient advocacy, she guides patients safely through a complex health care system so that they receive the best care possible, including services considered complementary, while providing ongoing support.
